Weekly Update

I hope this is the last weekly update that I post pre-Pebbles. Hopefully, by this time next week we will be able to introduce you all to Pebbles!

After another weekly appointment yesterday, the Doctor said I have made no real progress towards labor. But, he was quick to remind me that things can change quickly & occur at anytime. We go back to the doctor next week and I am going to have another ultrasound so the Doctor can take more measurements. It's still looks like Pebbles is going to be a BIG baby! (Isn't this ironic.... I was born so small)! We are not sure if I will be induced or maybe a c-section if I pass my due date. We will keep you posted....

2 weeks to go...

My due date is 2 weeks from today. I remember when I first learned I was pregnant, I never imagined the big day would be so close. We are ready! Today was my last day at work. The doctor thinks it would be a good idea for me to rest a bit - I can't argue with that! I am still feeling ok, but I move really slowwww.

Tomorrow is Nate's birthday & we are both looking forward to nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It may be the last time we go there for quite a while.

The big event could happen any day now, we promise to post a note to everyone once their is some action!

Today in the mail we received this beautiful hand-made quilt! It matches the nursery perfectly. This gift was lovingly made by Great Grandma Stone & Great Aunt Lana.

I love that the diaper bag attaches directly to the stroller! Thanks again, girls.

The only thing missing is Pebbles!

Waiting on our world to change

36 weeks along.... I saw the doctor again today and I am happy to report that both of us are healthy. We are just waiting! (I think all this waiting is worse than any pregnancy symptom)! 2 weeks ago we took a tour of the hospital. Nate was happy to learn that incase of a true emergency... we can valet park! Last Saturday we took an infant CPR class. Definately good information to learn, but I hope we never use it.

The nursery is ready. Mom is ready, but Pebbles is not ready yet. (not sure if Dad is ready yet). Maybe next week...

Baby Shower

Last weekend was our baby shower. It was a wonderful luncheon hosted by Grandmother-to be Carol. Thank you to everyone who traveled such a long way to join the celebration.

I went to the doctor yesterday and it's still looking like April 3rd is the due date (although I am convinced the baby will come early!!!!!) This weekend we have our tour of the hospital and birthing class. I will post some pictures of the nursery once we complete decorating it this week.

Super Bowl

Despite the Bear's loss & the frigid weather, we had a nice day celebrating Grandmom's birthday. I know I am wearing a Bronco's jersey, but atleast it's orange & blue (I am just glad it fit me).

Happy Birthday Grandma, can't wait to join the party next year. I love your retro Bears sweater!

One last bit of news: Daddy is famous! His name was in the Wall Street Journal as recognition for completing the CFA. Here he is with the big diploma:

Welcome to our blog spot devoted to Baby "Pebbles" Stone! We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child on April 3rd, 2007!

Both Mom & Dad are enjoying preparing for the baby. We finally caved and created this website as a way to share photos with our family & friends. We hope this helps us all keep in touch during this exciting time. We will try to post new photos of Pebbles as often as we can - so check back often!
